Alysha

Registered Dental Assistant

Alysha graduated from SAIT in 2009, which is also when she moved to Red Deer to begin her dental assisting career. Here at 52nd Street Dental Clinic, she is most often found assisting the dentists at chairside with procedures and helping to educate patients on their treatment and how to care for their teeth. Alysha finds it very rewarding to help a person get out of pain or even help someone overcome dental anxiety by creating a comfortable environment.

In her free time, Alysha enjoys riding and showing her horse, going to the gym, and spending time with family and friends.

Kelly

Hygienist

Kelly is a true professional with more than 20 years of experience in the dental health field. She works diligently to treat and educate our patients. Kelly's son and daughter keep her busy with their school and sports activities, but she also finds time to relax with a good book for a quiet night at home.

Kerri

Receptionist

Kerri works in various places around the office. She assists our clinical staff and she helps our patients make responsible care plans. We appreciate her patient-first attitude during all tasks, whether treatment-focused or administrative. Kerri and her husband have two children. They love to cheer for the Edmonton Oilers and recently developed an interest in camping, hiking, and travelling.

Marte

Dental Assistant

Marte works chairside with Dr. Chabaylo and Dr. Nenkov. She also assists in the maintenance of our clinic. She has been with us since 1988, so Marte has had the opportunity to really get to know many of the families we treat. Marte is very involved in her church, where she serves on the board and fills multiple roles in the music program, including vocals, piano, and bass guitar. She also enjoys woodwork, needlework, painting, and making jewellery, but her best times are spent with family and friends.

Sandi-Rae

Receptionist

Sandi-Rae assists our patients with scheduling and insurance information, as well as answering questions over the phone. We value her friendly personality and strong sense of respect for both her coworkers and our patients. Sandi-Rae is married with three grown children and a dog to keep her company at home. Her family enjoys traveling and hitting the snowy slopes whenever they can.

Sheila

Dental Assistant

Sheila is a career dental assistant working with Dr. Nenkov, Dr. Wyzykoski and Dr. Engel providing restorative, cosmetic, and surgical care, as well as handling imaging duties and many other tasks. Sheila has been at our practice for nearly 20 years. She does volunteer work at the Dental Outreach of Red Deer (DooR) Program and is active in the local Dental Assistant Association. She and her husband love to spend time outdoors and take family ski trips with their three children. True to her Saskatchewan roots, she remains a loyal Roughrider fan!

Teale

Registered Dental Assistant

Teale provides our doctors with diagnostic information by exposing radiographs and pouring and trimming study models, and educates patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-op instructions. She is inspired to broaden her horizons by the willingness of our doctors to teach new techniques and share new ideas.

Teale is going to be a first-time aunt soon! She coaches and plays hockey, rides trail ride horses out west, and enjoys camping and fishing. She also volunteers for the Canadian Cancer Society.
